Call for Abstract submissions - AGU Meeting in Washington, DC, USA, on 10-14 December 2018.

Dear iLEAPS/GEIA Network,

Please consider submitting an abstract to this session at the Fall AGU Meeting in Washington, DC, USA, on 10-14 December 2018.

A056. Improving the Science of Emissions Through Inventories, Observations and Models

Session description: Inventories that comprehensively and accurately represent emissions sources at the process level are critical tools for understanding atmospheric composition and for designing effective environmental regulation. Emissions estimates derived from atmospheric in-situ and remote-sensing observations and chemical-transport models can help to identify information gaps and increase confidence in inventories. This session invites research aimed at improving the scientific understanding of emissions through inventory development, ambient observations, and atmospheric modeling. We welcome studies of emissions from anthropogenic or natural sources at a variety of spatial and temporal scales relevant to air quality or climate.

Abstracts should be submitted by August 1 (23:59 Eastern US time) at https://agu.confex.com/agu/fm18/prelim.cgi/Session/49670

Thanks from the Session Organizers Greg Frost, Barron Henderson, and Barry Lefer
